New Dates Released
Alexander Shelley’s dates for the coming sixth months are now available to view on this website. The months from September to March see him making his debut with, among others, the Komische Oper Berlin, the Malaysian Philharmonic, Singapore Symphony, Seoul Philharmonic, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony and Houston Symphony as well as returning to the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and for his fifth visit to the Tivoli Festival, Copenhagen. His soloists during this period will include Lars Vogt, Daniel Mueller-Schott, Hilary Hahn, Cameron Carpenter, Steven Hough and Colin Currie and his repertoire will encompass, among many other works, Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, Petrushka and Firebird, Schubert’s 8th Symphony, Brahms’s 2nd Symphony and 1st and 2nd Piano Concertos, Beethoven’s 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th symphonies, Elgar’s Enigma Variations and In the South, Rachmaninov’s 2nd Symphony, Holsts’ Planets, Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, Sibelius’ 5th Symphony, Strauss’s Don Juan, Debussy’s La Mer, Ravel’s La Valse and Salonen’s Helix.
